Some of your unsightly stains could be so bad that you will need to use a cleaner to pre-treat them. If the whole area is really grubby you can always treat it with a cleaning solution to start with.

Be sure that you cover the entire surface area as you pressure wash your driveway. Try to make sure you don’t miss any small spots because they will stick out like a sore thumb when you’ve finished! You may find going over your driveway more than once is needed to get it really clean, especially at first. The first wash will lift up most of the dirt and the second wash will remove it completely.

When you stand back and look over your freshly pressure washed driveway you should be proud of the results. However, remember that from the instant you finish getting it clean it will start accumulating mud and grime again. For this reason it is a good idea to consider sealing it again to protect the surface from future stains and make your next cleaning session easier.
